Privacy Policy

This policy explains how devkit handles information. It covers the devkit macOS app, the Linux app, the devkit command-line tool (together, "devkit") and this website. devkit is published by VIET NAM CODERS COMPANY LIMITED ("we", "us").
Summary
devkit does not collect, transmit or sell any personal data. It has no account, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no crash reporting. Everything it stores stays on your device.
Data we collect
None. devkit never sends your code, files, settings, site names, usage or device information to us or to any third party on our behalf.
Data stored on your device
To work, devkit keeps these files on your computer. They are never uploaded:
~/.config/devkit/: your stacks, sites, settings,.envtemplates and backups, process logs, local certificates, and the database snapshot list;~/.config/devkit/audit.log: a log of the actions AI agents performed through devkit's MCP server, with passwords and tokens removed, readable only by you;~/Library/Logs/devkit/devkit-app.log(macOS) or~/.local/state/devkit/devkit-app.log(Linux): the commands the app ran, with URL credentials removed;- the app's preferences (macOS user defaults, or the autostart entry on Linux).
You can delete any of these at any time. Deleting ~/.config/devkit removes all of devkit's data.
Network connections
devkit itself only connects to services on your own machine: Docker, your local sites and the local Caddy admin API. When you run a command that uses another tool, that tool connects to the servers you configured, under its own privacy policy. Examples are cloning or pushing with git, composer install, pnpm install and Docker image pulls.
AI agents
If you connect an AI agent (for example Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or Claude Desktop) to devkit's MCP server, devkit runs locally and answers the agent's requests on your machine. What the agent reads may be sent to that agent's provider under the provider's terms. We receive none of it.
This website
devkit.webpress.vn is a static site hosted on Cloudflare. It uses no cookies, analytics or trackers. Cloudflare may process technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site; see Cloudflare's privacy policy. If you email us, we use your message only to answer you.
Children
devkit is a developer tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date. Material changes will also be mentioned in the changelog.
